Andreas Svolakis is responsible for the functionality and integrity of all training and working spaces in the building. His main responsibility is to keep an inventory of all equipment, consumables and stored units and mend for their replacement or repair when required. He is often the one to open up the facilities in the morning and close them down again in the afternoon keeping in mind that everything is clean and set as they are supposed to be in order to best serve the needs of the operations. During the courses, the field officer is the one to greet all the beneficiaries and make them feel welcome. As part of the monitoring of the courses, he often has to call participants to inform them of changes or tasks and even assist the program officer during the registration process. Finally, he is responsible for all the transportations needed to and from the facilities, including setting up outdoor events.
