Refugee Women Academy
Refugee Women Academy, the new action implemented under Piraeus Bank’s EQUALL programme in strategic partnership with Odyssea, is addressed to vulnerable refugee women and focuses on their vocational training in tourism professions aiming to assist their integration into the labour market. The Refugee Women Academy is an initiative of Piraeus Bank, in collaboration with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, in Greece.
Action objectives
- Empower the participants to build self-confidence and self-awareness, so that they can unleash their potential
- Equip the participants with professional and technical skills that will assist their integration to the labour market, especially in the tourism sector
- Guide the participants towards a career that matches their personality and ambition
Conditions for participation
Eligible to participate in the Refugee Women Academy programme are women who are refugees/asylum seekers, residing in the Attica region.
