An IT’s basic duties include installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems and networks. As a technician, the IT should also be able to monitor said systems and networks, locate errors or malfunctions and offer solutions.
In this course, participants are trained on Information Technology, hardware & software, windows OS & server, virtual machines, computer networks, connections and cabling and network security. They gain a clear understanding of typical equipment failure modes and the available repair options.

Course Syllabus
- Introduction to IT
- Hardware: Motherboard, CPU, HDD, GPU, Fans, Power Supply, NIC. Laptop assembly and disassembly
- Software: OS and Applications
- Windows OS: Overall introduction of Windows 10, Advantages, Disadvantages, Installation-Upgrade-Downgrade-Format
- Virtual Machines: VMware (Configuration)
- Windows Server: General introduction to Windows Server
- Servers: OS (Linux and Windows), introduction in Servers
- Networking: Introduction to networking, hardware configuration, Cabling, Wireless Networks and Networking Protocols
- Network Security: Firewall, VPN, IPS/IDS, Cryptography
